New paper published in Psychometrika!
We are happy to announce the publication of the paper titled “Parceling Cannot Reduce Factor Indeterminacy in Factor Analysis: A Research Note,” authored by Edward E Rigdon (Georgia State University), Jan-Michael Becker (University of Cologne), and Marko Sarstedt (OVGU) in Psychometrika. In this paper, the authors analytically show that parceling generally increases factor indeterminacy, thereby increasing the validity gap between constructs and the conceptual variables that they represent.
An annual VHB textbook prize awarded by the Association of University Teachers for Business Administration goes to Prof. Dr. Marko Sarstedt and his co-authors J. F. Hair, Jr. /C. in 2019. M. Ringle/S. P. Gudergan for the title "Advanced Issues in Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling" published by SAGE. The award ceremony took place on 14 June during the VHB annual conference in Rostock. "With this award," writes the VHB, "we in the Association recognize the commitment of our members in business management teaching, which is a second central task of our work as scientists alongside research. The VHB Textbook Prize "is intended to highlight and acknowledge the importance of scientifically sound teaching in business administration".
